HELEN O'BRIEN (Fortepiano) andFRANK DE ROSSO (Chamber Organ, Grand Organ)16 August 2009, 3.00pm Five keyboard instruments will be played in this unique concert, contrasting the particular qualities of each - the grand organ, the chamber organ, two different harpsichords and the fortepiano. Helen will bring her beautiful harpsichords and her striking fortepiano to St Mary’s for this concert. Frank will present music from the majestic to the delicate from the Chamber Organ and Grand Organ, including works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Schubert. You can’t miss this!
Concert 4 KEYBOARD KALEIDOSCOPE
Featuring the music of Debussy, Messiaen, Faure, Franck, Poulenc, and Durufle in an anthology of 19th and 20th century French music, with motets and chansons for church seasons and special occasions. The concert explores, in music, the lights and colours of Notre Dame's stain-glass windows, Monet's gardens and Veraline's moonlight.

JOHN SHAWCROSS (Piano) and DAVID GARDNER (Saxophone)11 October 2009, 3.00pm In this concert, expressive and touchingly beautiful Gospel music, lively Christian hymns of trust and hope, and sacred melodies that you all know, will be given new dimensions with improvisation in blues and jazz modes by these outstanding musicians. Both John and Dave have a wealth of experience performing with the best musicians in their fields.
