Mozart: 'Veni Creator Spiritus" Vivaldi: ‘Gloria’, Dvorak: ‘Six Biblical Songs’
and Haydn: ‘The Heavens are Telling (The Creation)’

 
The Geelong Chorale and The Geelong Community Orchestra conducted by Allister Cox. Soloists Lisa Breen, Helen Lyth, Sopranos, Alison Ralph, Alto, Manfred Pohlenz, Baritone.

Light refreshments in Hibernian Hall from 6.30 pm.
FESTIVAL 2-DAY PASS $30. Admits one person to ten DAYTIME concerts. Includes program.  FREE SHUTTLE BUS
FESTIVAL 1-DAY PASS $20.   Admits one person to five DAYTIME concerts on the same day. Available for either Saturday or Sunday. Includes program. Daytime concerts approximately 60 minutes’ duration.  FREE SHUTTLE BUS

Dine to the stirring strains of Brendan Nicholls’ Bagpipes.

10.00 am. Concert 1. THEATRE OF THE WINGED UNICORN

Lively Gilbert and Sullivan music to put you in Festival mood!

11.30 am. Concert 2. EASTERN SACRED MUSIC

A choral workshop with Symon Kohut.

St Peter and Paul’s Church, Mercer St, Geelong.  

 

12.30 pm. Lunch - make own arrangements.  Light refreshments available for purchase at Hibernian Hall.

 

2.00 pm. Concert 3. WIND AND STRINGS

The Exaudi Youth Choir” from Melbourne, directed by Claire Preston, returns to the festival by popular request.

The St Michael’s Grammar European Tour Choir.  Director Gary Ekkel.
