vibraphone give fascinating dimensions to great works by Bach and
contemporaries such as Vivaldi, Telemann and Handel.

BENEFIT CONCERT FOR ANAM CARA HOUSE

The Basilica of St Mary of the Angels. 136 Yarra Street Geelong.

Geelong’s artists give freely of their time and talent in this concert to raise funds to support the work of Anam Cara House in caring for
those with a life-limiting illness, and offering respite to their families.
This lovely concert features vocal and instrumental works from choirs,
ensembles and soloists.
All funds raised go directly to Anam Cara House to provide recreational
activities and art materials for the guests.

In the beautiful setting of the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels, international operatic soprano Wendy Grose performs prayers and well-loved songs to Mary, chosen from the music of Gounod, Schubert, Dvorak, Verdi, Brahms, di Lasso, Durante, Stradello and others.
Len Vorster, internationally-acclaimed pianist, accompanist and recording artist, is the associate artist for this concert.

A COUNTRY RAMBLE
Saturday 8th September.
Leaves St Mary’s Basilica at 10.00 am. Returns by 5.30 pm.
Come on a country ramble to three lovely little churches in the country
near Geelong . Three concerts, luxury coach, lunch at a winery and light
refreshments make this “ramble” a special occasion. Coach travellers
only. Space is limited in these quaint and charming country churches!
